A CALMER WAY TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN

Make space
for good work.

Big ideas. Small next steps. One clear place for it all.
Meet Forge, project management that speaks your language.

A local-first desktop workspace. Also available on the web.

A little clarity goes a long way.
✓
Your work. Your pace.A workspace that leaves room to think.
THE REAL FORGE INTERFACE · ILLUSTRATIVE SAMPLE TASKSThoughtfully built, down to the small things.

A place for the plan.
And the beautiful mess before it.

Work doesn’t arrive perfectly organized. Forge gives your ideas, tasks, and projects a little structure, without making you learn a whole new language.

01

Words you already use.

Tasks. Owners. Goals. Clear by default, with traditional project terms when you want them.

02

Room to find your rhythm.

See the board, scan a list, or step back to a timeline. The same work, from the angle you need.

03

A home on your machine.

The desktop keeps your work in a local database. Keep going, even when the connection doesn’t.

See it your way.

Zoom into the next step.
Or make sense of the bigger picture.

Good ideas don’t
wait for the right tab.

A thought in the middle of something else? Open a Forge Sticky. Type a line. It becomes a task in your project, while you stay right where you are.

⌘ / Ctrl⇧FA small shortcut. A clear head.
↳ Floating capture on desktop, with nothing to submit.
One thought → one next step.

On your machine.
On your terms.

Forge’s desktop app starts with a local database. An account is optional. Sync is there when you need it. Your connection doesn’t get to decide when you work.

Offline comes first

Create, organize, and keep moving without a server.

Privacy, built in

Local storage and optional end-to-end encrypted workspaces on desktop.

Tools that meet you here

Local Git context and an MCP server for your assistant, built into the desktop workflow.

Good to know.

Is Forge a desktop app or a web app?+

Both. Forge is built for macOS and Windows, with a web build you can host yourself. The desktop stores work locally; the web app stores it on your server and requires sign-in.

Do I need an account?+

Not on desktop. You can work locally without an account or a connection. The hosted web app requires an account to reach your workspace.

Does everything work in the browser?+

Boards, lists, planning, and the shared task system work in the web app. Floating Stickies, local Git context, assistant configuration, and end-to-end encryption are desktop capabilities.

Can I download Forge today?+

You can open the web app at forge.silberie.com/app. Sign-in is required; access may require an invitation. Visit the download page for available desktop builds and installation details. The screenshots on this page show the current interface with illustrative sample tasks.

Can I use familiar project management terms?+

Yes. Forge uses plain words by default, but you can switch to traditional terms such as issues, sprints, and story points in settings.

A little less managing.
A lot more making.
